About the Project

Lux Salon is a high end salon in the Raleigh area that specializes in hair cuts, color, featherlock extensions, and many other services. They contacted me to update their website to a modern, clean but edgy look, and I had to accept!

I worked closely with them to create a custom design that matched the style of the salon. In addition, I also helped them update their logo and business cards to match the new look and feel. I then coded and integrated the design into ExpressionEngine, an amazingly flexible content management system. This has enabled them to easily add, edit and maintain any of the content, blog entries, and events on their site.

In June we launched the new site and have seen a steady growth of new visitors and customers. From here we’re working on using social media to help advertise the salon services and to interact with customers.
